On Thursday Aston Comprehensive School competed in its first ever tennis match against Dinnington school.  Four Year 8 students Alex Wong, Joe Bland, Amy Hodgson, Georgia Staniforth competed in singles matches and 1 doubles match. 

The level of skill and commitment was outstanding, every game mattered and each point was fought for.  When the games were added together to determine the overall winner, Aston was victorious by 25 games to 24. 

Well done to the team.  Anyone else interested in representing school at tennis should come along to tennis practice on Fridays 3 - 4 pm.
